Aly & AJ

Aly & AJ are coming to town! They'll be here on June 21st at Wild Adventures, and the reserved seating just went on sale this morning. I went ahead and ordered our tickets today. I mean Katelynn has really been wanting to go so I....oh who am I kidding, of course I got tickets - it's Aly from Phil from the Future! LOL! What can I say, I'm a fan of the Disney TV and music stars lately. The wife and I couldn't stand those shows at first, but they've kind of grown on us and our Tivo fills up quickly. Our TV is tuned into the Disney Channel so much that the Disney logo is permanently burned into the bottom corner of the screen.

This is just the first concert premiering Disney stars. Later this year Raven and Corbin Bleu will be heading into town as well.

See ya there!

Bahama Bound!

I can't believe it's been 10 years since the wife and I said "I do." Back then we didn't have enough money to go on a true honeymoon. We just got a hotel room and ate McDonald's that night. Ten years and two kids later, we've done a lot of traveling and vacationing as a family, but the wife and I have never really been anywhere alone since we got married. Well this year was different, we decided to take a break ten years in the making. And with the help of our parents - who took turns watching our kids while we were gone and we could never thank enough - we booked a cruise to the Bahamas. Woo Hoo, Finally! Here are the pictures from our long awaited and well deserved journey.

Casey and Katrina's Bahama Cruise

Many thanks to Royal Caribbean and it's wonderful staff for treating us like royalty; to Debi at South Georgia Travel for doing all the paperwork; to our table buddies at dinner for hanging out with us old folks (Katrina especially thanks you for putting up with Casey!); to our tour guide on Nassau for showing us all the sights on the island; to our parents for watching our children while we were away; and to our two lovely kids for letting us spend some time together (I'm sure the gifts helped when we got back).

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone has a Happy and safe Halloween! Unfortunately the kids are sick so we won't be able to go trick or treating, but depending on how they feel we may dress them up to pass out candy. :( Hare pictures from last year's Halloween!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

Hopefully everyone had a safe and happy Easter. And if you're kids are as spoiled as ours are, then you would have thought it was Christmas already! It's all good though, we're blessed to have spoiled children. Saturday we had a great time at a family cookout and after we stuffed our faces, the kids got to hunt for Easter eggs. Fun stuff! This was CJ's first Easter egg hunt, and he had a blast! Then Sunday we got all dressed up for church and afterwards ate lunch at Cracker Barrel. Mmmm.

As you can see here, CJ was more interested in a Nerf football than he was Easter eggs.

Happy Birthday CJ!

Today my little man turns one years old! I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by.

He's getting so big! He's already walking and talking (at least he says 'NO' anyway). And in this picture below, he started coloring while we were eating at Cracker Barrel. He was going a little out of the lines but we'll work on that. ;)

Wow, it's hard to believe he was that little. So still...and so quiet. LOL.

Happy Birthday Little Buddy!
